Margaret Stribling, Director, In His Name Ministries, Inc.

In His Name Ministries had the privilege to see Shepherds of Love Ministry birthed by the Holy Spirit. The director, Teresa Rountree, from the very start had only one objective and that is to do the will of our Father. He called her to care for the needy in our community in word and deed, pointing them to the Life Changer and Lover of our Souls, Jesus. She is also called to help the practicing Christian to grow in their ability to hear the Father’s voice and respond in obedient action in caring for their neighbors. This is one of the best ways to practice the presence of JESUS.

Tiffany McFadden, Shepherds of Love Board Member

Serving on the Board of Shepherds of Love Ministries has been a rewarding and eye opening experience. Thousands of people are blessed each year with financial aid to help with utility bills, and most importantly, are prayed with and introduced to the love of Jesus Christ, sometimes for the very first time. Knowing that SOLM helps with the financial needs and the souls of the needy in OKC is a blessing that is immeasurable. Needs are met and lives are changed every day with the help of donations made by strangers. It is my honor to support and serve with this ministry.

Pastor Pam Millington, Missions
Outreach Ministries, Crossings Community Church

Crossings has partnered with SOLM since the ministry began. They provide a great referral source for individuals needing assistance with utilities. Not only do they handle the mechanics of referrals in a professional manner, but the interactions they have with scared and desperate callers is one that gives hope and encouragement through the sharing of Jesus Christ.

In the day and age we live in, it is truly hard to find people of like hearts who in the purest simplicity just want everyone on the planet to know Jesus through the Person of the Holy Spirit. In Shepherds of Love, we have found such a people! No pretense, no fluff, no promises of “if you do this, God will do this…”, just an invitation to encounter the living God through His care & generosity.

God recently has touched the hearts of the people in Grace Presbyterian Church in a wonderful way as they participated in Shepherds of Love. The mission and ministry was communicated very effectively over two Sundays with a well-produced video presentation and beautiful display in the fellowship area of the church. Giving was made easy as individual needs were presented in creative ways. We see that Shepherds of Love is truly making a tangible difference in the Kingdom of God!
